Deepening Engagement Strategies as Part of a  Carefully Crafted
Moves Management Program

We are all looking for ways to strategically work to invite new prospects to become supporters of our organizations. Looking at Engagement opportunities as opposed to Cultivation activities when accessing prospect interest and involvement uses a different mindset on our part. We will review the traditional Moves Management process of prospect development (Identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship) which is very transaction oriented and is important with the larger populations we all work with and explore an exciting variation - Engagement Focused Fundraising (Awareness, engagement, commitment, reinforcement) which develops partnerships, involvement, investment, advisory options and longer term relationships for key prospects and those who can have larger dimensions of impact on our organizations.

Presented by Sue A. Rector - CFRE
Assistant Vice President for Development, Augustana College

Sue earned a degree in elementary education and uses those educator skills throughout her career. She has been with Augustana College for 34 years and has worked in all aspects of Advancement including alumni relations, annual giving, corporate relations, stewardship and donor relations, grants and contracts administration.
